By the end of this module, you will be able to:
✓ Identify the rationale, new areas of additional focus and emphasis of the 2022 ADA/EASD consensus report for the management of hyperglycaemia in type 2 diabetes that underpin the recommended principles of care
✓ Explain the evidence underpinning the recommended personalised approaches for weight management, 24-hour physical behaviours, glucose-lowering medications and holistic, person-centred care
✓ Develop holistic person-centred pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches to the team-based management of hyperglycaemia in partnership with people with type 2 diabetes
