By the end of this module, you will be able to:
✓ Outline surgical options available to support the treatment of type 2 diabetes and obesity
✓ Explain the potential for remission of type 2 diabetes and improvement in glycaemic control in type 2 diabetes as a result of metabolic surgery
✓ Plan how you would advise people with type 2 diabetes living with obesity who seek advice about surgical treatments to support weight loss
