Hello. My name is Dr Prash Vas. I’m a Consultant Diabetologist at King’s College Hospital and I specialise in looking after people with diabetes presenting with complex diabetic foot problems. In this module, we will talk about how we go about saving the diabetic foot with neuropathy and with peripheral arterial disease. As you know, there is an increasing prevalence of diabetic foot disease and, indeed, every 20 seconds we lose a limb to diabetes somewhere in the world.

In this module we outline the service structures and practical steps required to save the limb for patients with diabetic neuropathy and peripheral arterial disease.
